Our range of boilers are amongst the most efficient available in Europe today, built almost entirely by hand from 1cm thick steel the wood gasification systems achieve between 89 and 90% efficiency. (More than most gas boilers) Switching from gas or oil to wood is extremely easy and can realistically pay for itself in 2 years. We are also developing a domestic cogeneration unit of about 10kw electric and 25kw heating.

The Gasification Process
The wood (maximum 20% humidity) is loaded into the fuel chamber, where it is in contact with the hot wood coals (8-900c). The air flow is limited to prevent burning and the resulting wood gasses (pyrolysis) are directed into the lower chamber for burning.
The burning process:
1. Drying the wood – water vapors from the wood, together with natural resins are eliminated.
2. Carbonization (pyrolysis) – the wood gas is formed and the wood is transforming in charcoal.
3. Primary burning – the charcoal is burned and the heat is taken by the upper levels of the heat exchanger.
4. Main burning – the wood gas passes through the refractory hole and in contact with secondary air flow auto ignites at 560 degree Celsius.
5. Total burning (final) – the wood gas is burning at 1200 degree Celsius and the heat is transferred through the heat exchanger meanwhile, the burned gases pass up the chimney.
Eleceau boilers are very efficient steel made boilers that use gasification process to burn the wood. A fan introduces the combustion air, which is directed in two air channels: primary air that allows upside-down burning of the wood, and pushes the wood gas into the second chamber, where, the secondary air flow burns it. This type of burning (pyrolysis) greatly improves the efficiency of burning, up to 89%. The Eleceau boilers are available in capacities from 25 to 105 kw.
From 25 to 40 kw they have a secondary heat exchanger that assures a constant hot water flow for a kitchen and a bathroom at the same time. They also have efficient protection systems preventing overheating (even when the electricity is off), pressurisation, and corrosion, that assures completely safety and a long lifetime, up to 35 years. Completely ecological with small amount of ash obtained from burning(<1%), the Eleceau boilers are the perfect solution for replacing old oil, gas and even wood burner.
Wood Pellet Boiler
Automatic and ecological boilers, manufactured of high quality steel plate and equipped with an automated pellet feed system. Their construction allows two modes of operation:
1. Automatic Operation Using Pellets
The boiler if fed with pellets from a hopper using a screw feed. The burner operates automatically, starting when fed a command from the control panel.
2. Manual Feed Operation
The boiler can burn a range of solid fuels (wood, coal, coke, wood powder briquettes and wood waste). The fuel is loaded manually into the bolier and controlled by a draught thermostatic adjuster.
These boilers are intended for heating buildings as well as providing household hot water. The standard package supplied includes the control panel, draught thermostatic regulator, pellet burner, pellet feed and storage system.
